Cassy Legaspi revealed that her parents, Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi, allowed her to have suitors but not boyfriends.
During the media conference for her endorsement with Palmolive, Legaspi was asked about having a boyfriend and if her parents allowed it.
She answered, “Not boyfriend po. Pero kung may mangliligaw po sa akin, pwede naman daw. Kasi 20 na daw po ako kaya medyo okay na sila with it. Boyfriend bawal, work na lang at school.”
Earlier, Legaspi trended on social media after her thoughtful tweet exchange with Kapamilya performer Darren Espanto and her tweet about ‘cup noodles.’

Despite their social media posts, the two have only confirmed their close friendship.
Recently, Legaspi starred in GMA Network’s high-rating series, First Yaya, with her loveteam Joaquin Domagoso.
Legaspi said she’s open to becoming a permanent love team with Domagoso.
“Okay, naman po. I’m really okay naman if it’s JD kasi nga po we’re comfortable with each other, and he’s a good person, he’s a good friend.”
However, she clarified that she’s open to working with other on-screen partners.
“I guess I’m open din naman to working with other people. And, gusto kong gawin ‘yun. I want to work with other people din. Ayun parang for a change naman.”
As for her latest career milestone, Legaspi became the endorser of the shampoo brand Palmolive.
