The Clash Season 2 Grand Champion Jeremiah Tiangco said he wants people to recognize him as a Retro Soul R&B Music artist.
During the media conference for his sophomore single release Sa Tuwing Umuulan, Tiangco shared what kind of artist he wants to be.
Soul R&B. Kasi, ngayon po madami nagfi-fifty-fifty na artists. Lalo na ‘yung mga batang artists.”
Tiangco then shared his music artists that influenced his singing style.
Old soul po talaga ako.”
He then revealed that he wants to release retro soul music Extended Play tracklist or Album similar to Bruno Mars.
“Gusto ko po retro talaga. Retro, Soul Classic talaga kasi as of now po, gusto ko po talaga i-showcase kung ano ako as a singer and artist.
“Hopefully, ‘yung ganong klaseng album. Retro, parang Bruno Mars-type of ano, or VST Company, Solid.
Tiangco also highlighted that he’s currently applying for a musical course in vocals and instruments at Berkley College of Music.
Mass Communications po tayo, so medyo malayo.
“Ngayon po may pinagkaka-abalahan po ako sa US. Sa Berkley College of Music. Hopefully, nag-apply po ako for their music talaga ng course. So sana, hopefully, makapasok po tayo sa scholarship nila.”
As for his sophomore single, Tiangco released the hugot theme song for the season, Sa Tuwing Umuulan, on July 25. It is currently available for streaming on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and other digital platforms worldwide.
