Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid signed another two-year exclusive contract with GMA Network today, January 4, making her a certified Kapuso star.
Present during the contract-signing were Regine’s manager andsister Cacai Valasquez-Mitra and the following GMA-7 executives: Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, Chairman and CEO; Lilibeth Rasonable, Senior Vice-President forEntertainment TV; and Darling de Jesus, Assistant Vice-President for Magazines, Musicals, Variety, and Specials.
Regine’s renewal of contract with GMA Network comes after rumors of transferring to another network late last year. However, Regine immediately dispelled the rumors last November before she signed a new contract with the Kapuso Network today.
There’s no announcement yet regarding her contract but hopefully, she’ll soon be back on doing musicals and variety shows.
