Zanjoe Marudo got compelled to spit his favorite position over a Shot o Sagot challenge with LA Tenorio and Hyubs Azarcon.
On the recent vlog uploaded on YouTube by D Lazy Road Trip, actor Marudo, basketball player Tenorio, and actor Azarcon engaged in a Shot o Sagot challenge.
The mechanics: each can either choose to do the shot or answer the question.
If one chooses a shot, the challenge depends on its level. For easy–it’s one, for average–two, and for difficult one–three.
When it was Zanjoe’s turn, he was asked the question: “Kung magiging basketball player ka, anong team sa PBA at posisyon?”
“Siyempre Ginebra ako, pare. Kasi bata pa lang ako talaga fan na kami ni… Ay ’di, si kuya San Miguel e. Ako, Ginebra kami ni tatay e… Ang galling kasi nila n’on n’ong time nina Jawo.
“T’saka ‘pag nando’n ka kasi parang team nila LA ‘di ba? May dagdag push e, dahil sa mga supporters, ang daming nanonood so parang hindi ka tatamarin.
“Kailangan mo ipanalo kasi bawat game… ’di ba? Nakakahiya kung bumiyahe. Pinag-ipunan pa ‘yung pambili ng ticket ‘di ba? Eh, magkano ticket para manood ng PBA, tapos hindi mo gagalingan,” Zanjoe confidently shared his insights if he were a basketball player.
The actor claimed to be a die-hard fan of Rudy Distrito, who was popularly known as The Destroyer on the basketball court.
“So, anong position ang gusto mo?” Hyubs interrupted with a follow-up question.
“69,” Zanjoe quickly blurted out.
Then the three broke into a peal of laughter.
“Point guard ako, e, kaya lang tumangkad ako. Siguro shooting guard. Para tira lang nang tira. Tira lang nang tira,” Zanjoe continued after gaining again their composure.
