The Kapamilya public service shows of Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo and Angel Locsin that helped countless people all over the country are about to bid adieu.
Santos-Agoncillo is the host of the documentary show Paano Kita Mapasasalamatan? The show is directed by Santos’s husband, Ryan Agoncillo. The show first premiered on June 13 last year.
The show focuses on inspirational, true-to-life stories of hope. It features narratives about kindness and how it changes an individual’s perspective about life. It also showcases stories that will uplift and inspire people to be kind in all kinds of situations.
On the other hand, Angel Locsin is the host of the show Iba ‘Yan which also focuses on sharing stories of hope with people. It narrates inspiring Filipino stories and empowers the spirit of communal unity.
Both Kapamilya public service shows mentioned have helped many Filipino families in terms of giving them livelihood and inspiration.
Santos’s Paano Kita Mapasasalamatan?—previously highlighted the inspiring stories of hope and survival of Marawi hostage survivors, bravery and resilience of a female soldier and three courageous moms to celebrate National Women’s Month, and how a popular Pinoy facebook page saved people’s lives.
The stories shared through Santos’s show served as an inspiration for all the Filipino people to continue to persevere even through life’s hard times.
Locsin’s Iba ‘Yan also helped the Filipino people by sharing the art of making eco-friendly charcoal, paying tribute to firefighters, featuring COVID-19 survivors, cyclists who are helping needy people, and the resilience of Batangas coffee farmers among others.
The show also dealt with the mental or emotional aspect of people as it shared stories of people suffering from depression and military sexual slavery during the Japanese occupation.
Locsin thanked all the people who supported her show through an Instagram post.
