Sony Music’s newest artist, raven, shared his journey into the Philippine music industry.
In an interview, raven shared how musician Rico Blanco discovered his musical talent through a simple social media interaction.
He also shared how he came up with the name “raven” as an artist.
As an artist, raven said he wants to inspire others to pursue their dreams and passion.
Keep on dreaming. Just keep doing the things that you love.”
The 21-year-old singer-songwriter recently released his debut single, Paraluman, a first from his Lika Na album under Sony Music Philippines. The song gives listeners an audible glimpse into the mixture of raven’s musical genres such as bedroom pop, lo-fi rap, indie folk, and chill music.
