Earlier, fans of Rita Daniela and Ken Chan, popularly known as RitKen felt thrilled upon hearing that their upcoming teleserye will have a primetime slot based on a report from 24 Oras.
However, as per Dalawang Ikaw lead star Chan’s twitter post, the series will air on GMA Network’s Afternoon Prime.

The upcoming Kapuso series should have aired back on March 29. However, GMA Network decided to delay it due to the resurgence of COVID-19 cases.
Many were expecting to see the advocaserye, Ang Dalawang Ikaw, in primetime, but, it seemed the Kapuso network went with its original plan of giving the upcoming series the Afternoon Prime slot.

A similar change happened with Heartful Café as the Network intended to put the teleserye on GTV to replace The Lost Recipe. Yet, upon seeing the show’s potential, Network executives decided to put it in the primetime slot.
This means that the power to put a teleserye in GMA Network’s coveted primetime spot remains with the execs.
On the plus side, fans already saw how effective RitKen’s chemistry onscreen, both on the afternoon and primetime spots.
