Singer and Rise artist Jayda Avanzado revealed her reason for her joining ABS-CBN.
In the media announcement for her music video release for her single, M.U. (Malabong Usapan), the young Avanzado highlighted ABS-CBN’s focus on artist training that made her sign up with the now franchise-less Network.
“Yung training, it’s something I personally give value to. And, it’s one of the reasons /why I joined ABS because not only sa tutok nila sa bawat artista.”
Jayda added, “it’s not just when it comes to negotiations or a business side of things, but they really take care of bringing out the best in each artist.”
As for her career, she shared three pieces of advice she received from her parents, Jessa Zaragoza and Dingdong Avanzado.
“Number one would be, there’s no substitute for hard work because there are so many talented people in this industry, and it’s competitive, it’s relentless, it’s brutal.
“Number two is to be authentic, be original.
“Number three would be magbigay pugay ka sa mga nauna sa iyo. Sinasabi ng Dad ko sa akin na importante na marunong kang makisama sa mga kapwa mo sa industriya.”
Jayda began her career with ABS-CBN in 2018.
She released her latest single featuring Francine Diaz about self-empowerment, M.U. (Malabong Usapan). Aside from her singing talent, she also showcased her directorial debut in the music video of her single.
Jayda will also her first major online concert on June 26 via KTX.ph, iWanTTFC, and TFC IPTV with reruns on June 27. Tickets are available on the said platforms for only Php499.
