Sunshine Cruz is seeking help from the netizens because social media trolls are targeting her family, again.
Cruz asked the netizens to report the facebook page Ayaw Kol for spreading maliciously edited photo of her family.
The edited photos made it look like she and her three daughters were having a meal with a porn star.
In the original photo, she was with her three daughters and her partner, Macky Mathay. While in the edited photo, Mathay’s head got edited (photoshopped) and replaced with the face of a porn star.
On May 11, Cruz expressed her frustration over the nasty things that surfaced on social media.
She wrote: “I will never understand why people think making fun of other people is funny. No one has the right to humiliate others. What would you feel kung isa sa pamilya nyo ang gawing katatawanan?”
She then emphasized that she is not asking for respect but all she wanted is to treat her as a person.
“It only shows the character na meron ang isang tao. Hindi ako humihingi ng respeto pero itrato nyo lang din akong tao. Pareho nyo nasasaktan din ako. Walang ginagawang masama ang pamilya ko kahit kanino.”
Later, facebook page Manila Wetter was called out by Cruz for posting the same edited photo.
“Sa mga hindi aware, Macky’s face was edited. Binago at ginawang porn actor. The comments as you can see are disgusting.
“Let’s not tolerate this kind of behavior here on Facebook. Sadly, it is so easy for others to say nasty things on social media. Which reveals the person they are. They must’ve forgotten na may mga babae din silang kapamilya.”
The original photo was taken during their celebration for Mother’s Day.
From a decent family photo, it was turned into a nasty meme.
It was not her first time dealing with such nasty posts.
In July 2020, she called out her daughters’ schoolmates for posting disrespectful comments about them in a facebook group.
Her two daughters, Francheska, 16 and Samantha, 17 are minors. Her eldest daughter Angelina will turn 20 this year though.
