ABS-CBN just named the next love team to join its Big League of Love Teams via the teaser trailer of the highly-anticipated series He’s Into Her.
The path to superstardom has been seemingly set for up-and-coming stars–Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano. This is after their home network, ABS-CBN, practically called them the next pair to join the likes of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Claudine Barretto and Rico Yan, Judy Ann Santos and Piolo Pascual–are among the Network’s homegrown love teams.
In the teaser of the upcoming iWantTFC series, He’s Into Her, ABS-CBN gave special mention to the phenomenal love teams it produced through the years, noting how each iconic love team made its generation fall in love. It also highlighted how each reigned to their respective generation. Later, it introduced Pangilinan and Mariano, alongside other major cast members of the series; naming them the new breed of future superstars.
DonBelle has recently been selected by Netizens as the love team to make it big this 2021, in LionhearTV’s maiden RAWR Pulse poll.
“May bagong love teams tayong ifo-follow” the voice-over announces, as the song of the breakout P-Pop group, BGYO, plays in the background. The teaser captures Mariano and Pangilinan’s ‘kilig’ scene—one of too many will surely send faithful fans into kilig frenzies, when it starts to air in late May.
As anticipation for He’s Into Her continues to mount, and the following of Pangilinan and Mariano gets bigger and bigger, the inevitable success of their team-up is now practically sealed. The pair is also expected to star in their starring film, set to be helmed by the phenomenal blockbuster director, Cathy Garcia-Molina.
Interestingly, the confidence that ABS-CBN is giving #DonBelle, is just reminiscent of how it handled the careers of many big stars. There is no denying the amount of attention it would pay Mariano and Pangilinan’s team-up, given its record of nourishing its stars with big and important projects.
DonBelle’s path, however, will be a lot tougher, as ABS-CBN remains without a valid legislative franchise.
The loveteam’s exponentially growing online fanbase, however, seems poised to give the show enough mileage, for it to gather support beyond social media. Previously intended for iWantTFC release, the series is also set to premiere on free TV via A2Z Channel 11 on May 30.
An adaptation of the best-selling novel of the same name by author, Maxine Lat Calibuso—more popularly known as Maxinejiji—He’s Into Her will also star some of ABS-CBN emerging teens stars, including Kaori Oinuma, Jeremiah Lisbo, Vivoree Esclito, Rhys Miguel, Joao Constantia, and Criza Taa.
ABS-CBN Entertainment is set to release its official full trailer on May 1.
