Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. said he’s thankful for GMA Network’s support and that he remains a loyal Kapuso.
In the media conference for GMA Network’s action-packed fantasy series Agimat ng Agila, Revilla said, “Kaya, that’s why I’m very, very thankful sa GMA di ba? Yung suporta sa akin ng GMA ganon na lang at loyal naman ako sa kanila.
“Kaya alam din naman nila kung gaano tayo magmahal sa kanila.”
According to him, the series has 13 weekly episodes lined up and hopes for a second season.
“Yung series po natin ginawa po sya para sa once a week. Kumbaga hindi po talaga sya for every day. We only have 13 episodes, po. Pero anyway, we are hoping for season 2 kasi sa tingin ko naman eh mangyayari po iyon. Pero malay po natin, we’ll see.”
As for the success of the series, Revilla considers feeling nervous is a good sign.
“Pag hindi ka na kinakabahan eh, may problema ka na. Ako sa totoo lang, kinakabahan ako. Kapag kinabahan ako malamang magiging successful ito.”
One of his first Kapuso projects is Hokus Pokus with Ruffa Mae Quinto in 2006. He also worked with GMA Network TV shows such as Kap’s Amazing Stories and Bubble Gang.
The series serves as Revilla’s comeback and will premiere on Labor Day, May 1.
The action-packed series aims to inspire the audience with stories of perseverance and adventure. It has a star-studded cast, including Sanya Lopez, Michele Dee, Allen Dizon, Elizabeth Oropesa, Edgar Allan Guzman, Miggs Cuaderno, Ian Ignacio, Roi Vinzon, and Sheryl Cruz.
