The newest member of ABS-CBN’s The Squad Plus is Daniel Padilla’s relative–Ashton Salvador.
He’s not picky when it comes to taking roles.
During the virtual launching of the newest members of The Squad Plus, which Ashton is part of, he was asked if he is willing to be a third-party character for a KathNiel movie, which he answered, without any reluctance, “Opo.”
Though being a shy person, Salvador pursued acting for the reason that he wants it. Due to his shyness, he had difficulty entering showbusiness.
“Mahiyain ako, kaya nahirapan akong pumasok (in showbiz). Kasi di ko talaga kayang magpakita sa camera,” Ashton admitted.
Since he is entering the acting scene, Ashton revealed that he is willing to accept such a role not because he gets to work with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, but for the reason that he is still new to the industry and that he needs experience.
“Okay lang na kahit anong ibigay na trabaho, handa ako. Syempre baguhan palang ako. Willing akong tumanggap ng mga ganung trabaho,” he explained.
Aside from Ashton, his older sister, Analain is also with him in The Squad Plus. The siblings are joined by Jimuel Pacquiao, Nio Tria, and Alyanna Angeles.
