Queenie Mae, the Filipina member of the rising girl-power group, Boys World, revealed that she’s a fan of KathNiel.
In an interview for their live concert, Queenie said she’s mostly Filipina and was born in the Philippines.
“I’m mostly Filipina. Yeah, I was born in the Philippines. I went to the US, 2007,” shared Queenie.
When asked about her favorite artists, she revealed that she’s a fan of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
“I feel like it’s hard because I barely listen to Filipino music, but I’ll watch like Kathryn Bernardo movies all the time. And, Daniel Padilla, I love them together.”
Queenie added her favorite KathNiel movie is She’s Dating A Gangster.
“What is it, She’s Dating A Gangster, like an all-time favorite, but there’s so many,” said Queenie.
She also revealed to her fellow group members that one of their Disney Channel icons is the Filipina singer Lea Salonga.
“Same thing here, I only watch movies. I barely listen to music. But I feel like the girls don’t know too– that one of their icons when it comes to Disney Channel is Lea Salonga. Like, Mulan and Aladdin.”
Boys World is the eclectic supergroup of five members – Elana Caceres, Olivia Ruby, Queenie Mae, Lillian Kay, and Makhyli. They recently held their one-night concert this April 23 to celebrate their EP release for While You Were Out.
The extended play tracklist includes Girlfriends, Wingman, Tiptoe, Relapse, and Touched by an Angel. The also EP features songwriting by Tayla Parx, Gino Barletta, Lindgren, and Melanie Fontana.
