PCOO Undersecretary and NTF-ELCAC Spokesperson Lorraine Badoy is like a fish fried by its oil after several journalists and social media personalities slammed her over her recent statements.
She is currently making noise following her recent red-tagging remarks against Maginhawa Community Pantry organizer Ana Patricia Non.
Badoy whose known for defending the Duterte administration from all criticisms recently called on Community Pantry donors to take a look or inquire where their donations went.
This following Badoy and another NTF-ELCAC’ Spokesperson Gen. Antonio Parlade accused Non and other community pantries as a front of communist groups.
Community pantries that started at Maginhawa Street in Quezon City have been subjected to red-tagging and profiling from law enforcement agencies particularly the NTF-ELCAC.
In a facebook post, Wednesday, April 12, Badoy appealed to the donors of Community Pantries to ask for an accounting of their donations insinuating that it might be used for other reasons.
“Why dollars, I wonder? Dollars for international donors, of course. You know those poor innocent white dudes who have no idea they’re being taken for a ride.
“To those good hearts who have donated their dollars to AP Non, please ask for a clear accounting. Ask where your money went. Make sure it goes to where you want it to go,” Badoy said.
Meanwhile, her latest statement immediately backfired on her as several journalists and social media personalities bring back the same question to her saying where’s the P19 billion budget of the NTF-ELCAC.
In her tweet, CNN anchor Mai Rodriguez addressed the NTF-ELCAC and asked where and what did the P19B fund of the agency do so far.

Kapuso broadcaster Joel Reyes Zobel on the other hand, directly addressed Badoy saying if she can also account for the budget of her office.

Kapamilya reporter Jeck Batallones and former COMELEC Commissioner Goyo Larrazabal also made similar statements, asking Badoy to account where the people’s taxes went.

Former Partylist Congressmen Teddy Casiño meanwhile chided Badoy that she might be the one who has something to explain, attaching a news article about Badoy’s wealth growing 85% in 2019.

Meanwhile, at the moment, Non is contemplating if she has to press charges against Badoy and Parlade.
According to her, she is currently consulting with their lawyer and with other lawyers who volunteered their services on possible legal action against the NTF-ELCAC mounthpieces.
