A blind item circulating that Barbie Forteza allegedly stop Alden Richards from seeing her. The issue was answered during the taping of “The Half Sisters,” that she admitted that she stop Alden, but she also added that she was only kidding and not seriously preventing Alden in seeing her.
Barbie told the reporter that she wants to clear this issue because it might cause a negative reaction from the fans of Alden and Maine Mendoza, and would end up being bashed by the AlDub Nation.
Alden laughed when he learned about it. He still approached Barbie and greeted her and shared their laughter about it during their show on Sunday PinaSaya.
Barbie shared that Alden never change, even though he is now a very successful artist , he is the same guy that she knows, simple, humble and God fearing man.
“Nakakatuwa kasi kahit sobrang-sobrang-sobrang sikat na sikat na siya, kung papaano kami mag-bond noon hindi nabago yun, e,” Barbie said.
Barbie is very proud of Alden’s success. Alden is considered as the hottest male star in the Philippines now because of Alden and Maine Mendoza AlDub love team in “Eat Bulaga!”.
She added that they both came from the province of Laguna, and she already have worked with Alden on different occasions . Alden appeared in the “Tweet Academy”, and also he was a guest in “Tween Hearts”. Barbie and Alden worked together in the movie “The Road”, and “Sa Wagas”.
Aside from her afternoon soap , “The Half Sisters,” Barbie is also one of the mainstays of the comedy-variety show of GMA ‘s “Sunday PinaSaya” together with Alden Richards.

She won the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ award in the new breed category at the 10th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival in August 2014, for the film “Mariquina”, she portrays the teenage version of Mylene Dizon’s character “Imelda”.
Barbie loves her character in “Half Sisters”, she’s enjoying and very proud of it, she has one concern thou with the character as most of her scenes calls for her ‘crying’ which she describes as dehydrating her from too much crying.
