Walang Hanggang Paalam Directors Manny Palo and Darnel Villaflor said that the teleserye persevered amid the struggles they faced while filming the teleserye.
In the media conference for the final week of Walang Hanggang Paalam, Director Manny Palo said that the teleserye persevered and added that ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment didn’t back out from their commitment to providing quality entertainment.
“We persevered. And the network, ‘di naman siya umatras. The network and Dreamscape, ‘di naman sila umatras sa commitment nila na ipagpatuloy ang pag-create.
“So we could deliver quality entertainment to our Kapamilya, kasi that is the commitment of the network. Kaya maraming salamat, umabot kami hanggang dito,” said Palo.
As for Villaflor, he recounted the difficulties they faced in mounting scenes with the strict safety restrictions.
“Siguro from very start pag naiisip ko ‘yung Against All Odds finale ng walang hanggang paalam, lahat ng eksena na kasama ‘yung bata. Nakasama niya si Emman at si Celine. Nakasama niya si Anton. ‘Yung anak ni Miss Pie doon,” said Villaflor.
He then added that filming the scenes and completing the series left him in awe, noting the amount of work they put into the teleserye.
“Gusto ko silang bigyan ng acknowledgement kasi sa panahon ngayon, ako hanggang sa oras na ‘to, I’m in awe na natpos namin lahat ng eksena na kasama sila. Kasi napakahirap, napakadugo ng proseso kung paano planuhin at gawin ‘yung eksena,” said Villaflor.
Villaflor thanked the management for supporting them throughout the filming process amid the pandemic.
“Maraming salamat at sinuportahan kami ng management na i-push ‘yung proseso para maitawid namin yun,” said Villaflor.
Villaflor then lauded ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment’s safety protocols for locked-in filming. He also thanked the network for ensuring the cast and crew’s safety amid the pandemic.
“I’d like to thank our Kapamilya network, Dreamscape kasi alam mo po, ang isa or baka sa palagay ang pinaka magandang protocol sa pag-aalaga ng bubble set.
“Yung malasakit, ‘yung pag-aalaga na binibigay ng ABS-CBN, sa amin na mga nagtra-trabaho. Para sa network, para sa ating mga Kapamilyang may maipapalabas. Napakalaking pasasalamat ‘yun sa kanila,” said Villaflor.
