Walang Hanggang Paalam stars Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo shared their thoughts on the ABS-CBN’s shutdown and its expansion of platforms and venues to watch Kapamilya programs.
In the media conference for the final week of Walang Hanggang Paalam, Panganiban said that she focused on the positive things that happened after ABS-CBN’s shutdown.
I mean parang mas lumawak lang yung mundo,” said Panganiban.
Then, Panganiban acknowledged the people who believed in ABS-CBN and what they have done for the company.
She then highlighted the venues and platforms ABS-CBN has, from Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney Channel, iWantTFC, and many more, adding that she still felt thankful for the network’s journey.
“And tignan nyo naman ngayon, nasa free TV na ulit, may Kapamilya channel, may jeepney channel, sa iWantTFC, mas dumami kumbaga yung platforms kung saan kami napapanood. Kaya kahit papano talagang napaka-thankful pa rin,” said Panganiban.
As for Marudo, he also felt thankful as a part of Walang Hanggang Paalam.
“Syempre sobrang thankful lalo na yung naging part ako ng Walang Hanggang Paalam kasi nung panahon ng pandemic, nung nagsarado yung ABS,” said Marudo.
Marudo added that he felt good–standing by ABS-CBN and trusting the Network, especially with the opportunities he received as a Kapamilya. Then, He echoed the theme of their series finale “against all odds,” highlighting that ABS-CBN remains in the service of the Filipino.
Give and take naman yan. And, nakakatuwa na ganito yung nangyayari ngayon saktong sakto yung against all odds.
