A new story of Kapuso drama anthology I Can See You has premiered on Monday, April 5.
I Can See You Season 2: #Future debuted recently with starring Miguel Tanfelix, Kyline Alcantara, Gabby Eigenmann, and Aiko Melendez.
Based on the rating data from AGB Nielsen, ICSY #Future’s pilot scored a rating of 15.5%, 8.7% higher than rival Kapamilya teleserye Huwag Kang Mangamba which registered a rating of 6.8%.
#Future’s pilot rating, however, is a bit lower than its predecessor’s ICSY: On My Way To You, which had a pilot rating of 16.1%.
Although ICSY wins in the rating data, its online viewing remains lackluster compared to HKM.
Based on their Youtube views, HKM wins by far with 476 thousand views on its April 5 episode while ICSY: #Future only managed to attract 9,751 viewers as of writing for its pilot episode.
Meanwhile, the pilot episode introduced Vinchie’s (Miguel Tanfelix) character as a young man who’s willing to trade doing good just to find viral news that can leverage him for his dream of becoming a successful reporter.
However, his way of chasing his dreams has somehow contributed to the death of his father after finding out that the video he was about to make viral involved his dad.
Following his dad’s death, Vinchie saw a phenomenon on the CCTV where he was able to see what will happen in the future. And because of that, he was able to save her mother from an eventual accident.
