I Can See You: #Future casts, Miguel Tanfelix, Gabby Eigenmann, and Director Dominic Zapata reacts to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation.

In the media conference for the new episodes of the GMA Network’s anthology series, Tanfelix, Eigenmann, and Zapata shared their opinions on the adherence to health protocols amid the pandemic and discipline of Filipinos.

Tanfelix first called for unity and urged the public to follow safety protocols.

“Siguro gusto kong makakita ng future with unity, yung government natin, and tayong mga tao.

“Dapat yung mga tao sumusunod sa kung anong dapat sundin nila para matapos na rin ‘to,” said Tanfelix.

Eigenmann then recounted his experience seeing people not following the safety protocols.

“Di pa nagkakaroon ng ECQ ulit, when I was driving makikita mo lahat ng tao sa kalye, nakamask nga pero nakataas yung face shield,” said Eigenmann.

Director Zapata highlighted that people need to practice self-awareness and assess themselves.

“Tignan ko muna yung sarili ko, as a kind of self-awareness. Ayusin ko muna yung sarili ko. When I assess myself, I only see the good things, eh. Di ko naiisip na “ay medyo mali rin ako dun, masyado yata akong mapanghusga dun, masyado yata akong self-righteous dun,” said Zapata.

Director Zapata finally points out that self-awareness can lead to unity.

“Kapag ganon kayo lahat mag-isip, there is, if I borrow from Miguel, magkakaroon kayo ng unity. Kasi medyo iisa yung direction nyo,” said Director Zapata.

As of March 31, 2021, the Philippines have 747 288 confirmed cases since the pandemic started in 2020. The country experienced a resurgence of COVID-19, with March having daily numbers up to 10 000. It resulted in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal reverting to Enhanced Community Quarantine.

Miguel Tanfelix and Kyline Alcantara top-bills the newest episodes of the I Can See You: #Future. Alongside them are Melendez, Gabby Eigenmann, Morales, and Dani Porter. Directed by Director Dominic Zapata, I Can See You: #Future airs this April 5, 2021, right after First Yaya on GMA Network.
