The elated Kapuso star Sanya Lopez thanked the viewers for the warm reception of her drama series First Yaya‘s premiere on Monday, March 15.
In a tweet, Lopez expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported the first two episodes. The series topped the rating board.

First Yaya had a successful debut. It topped the rating board with 23% combined ratings from its simulcast broadcast on three channels–GMA Network, GTV, and Heart of Asia.
The Kapuso series earned a combined rating of 23.4%. Its pilot episode’s warm reception and good feedback may have attracted more viewers to watch its second episode.
Melody (Lopez) was on a job hunt in the second episode. She excitedly told her family about the good news. Despite that, her family felt guilty over her decision to work locally and settle for much lower pay against her working abroad.
