Seasoned actor Dominic Ochoa said that the inspirational teleserye, Huwag Kang Mangamba, fits the current pandemic situation. He also said that the series inspires people to seek the Lord through these trying times.
He also thanked ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment for creating such a story.
“It’s one year na tayo ngayon sa pandemic since nagkaroon ng lockdown. And, siguro natataon itong ginawa ng ABS-CBN no, I’m very thankful na medyo sensitive ang ABS, ang Dreamscape sa paggawa at pagbuo ng ganitong istorya.
“It’s basically inspiring people to seek the Lord, to seek his grace.”
Then, he recounted the struggles he faced during the pandemic, from an accident, losing a show, to the ABS-CBN shutdown.
“I got into an accident; I lost a show so pasan ko ang daigdig last year. And then nagkaroon pa ng pandemic, parang andaming pumapasok sa isip mo, tapos may shutdown pa tayo,” said Dominic.
Finally, he said that he surrendered his doubts from last year to God through prayers.
“But, alam mo lahat yan dinasal ko eh. At the end of the day, niluhod ko yan sa Diyos. Iniyakan ko yan sa harapan ng simbahan.”
