Seasoned actress Matet De Leon says she values working the ways she wants over fame, and she had never doubted her acting career.
During the media conference event for ABS-CBN Entertainment’s upcoming teleserye, Huwag Kang Mangamba, Matet expressed how she values and loves her acting career.
“For me now, what’s {important} is ‘yung nagagawa ko, kung ano ‘yung gusto ko. Mahal ko ang pag-aartista so para sa akin parang ‘yun na lang ‘yung importante,” said Matet.
Matet then said she doesn’t concern herself with fame, highlighting that popularity fades.
Afterward, she thanked ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment for including her in the show, adding that she likes her role in the teleserye.
Matet added that she never doubted her career as an actress.
“Hindi ako nangangamba, at never akong nangamba,” said Matet.
