Huwag Kang Mangamba showrunners and creators revealed that they wanted to give the new series to the Gold Squad after Kadenang Ginto‘s success.
In the media conference for ABS-CBN Entertainment‘s upcoming inspirational teleserye, director Emmanuel Q. Palo highlighted Kadenang Ginto‘s success. He also lauded the talent and influence of the Gold Squad (Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, and Seth Fedelin).
Napatunayan Nina Andrea, Francine, Seth, at Kyle na they are the most talented, the most exciting, and most influential actors of their generation.”
Then, Palo said that both ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment decided to include the Gold Squad after the teleserye’s conception.
Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal echoed Palo’s statement, adding that the teleserye has been in the pipeline before the pandemic.
“We are really preparing for the next teleserye of the Gold Squad after Kadenang Ginto. And Actually, Huwag Kang Mangamba is already in the pipeline prior to the pandemic.”
As for the teleserye itself, director Darnel Villaflor said that the series aims to remind everyone that Bro (Jesus Christ) hasn’t abandoned us.
Creator Danica Domingo added that the series aims to tell the story of people who have gone through trials and tribulations.
Creator Rondel Lindayag added that the series aims to remind people about hope.
Na gaano man kadilim may liwanag tayong makikita.”
Director Jerry Lopez Sineneng echoed Lindayag and added that the series also wants to remind people about faith and inspiration.
“Nabanggit na kanina this is a story of hope, faith, and inspiration.
Finally, Endrinal related Huwag Kang Mangamba to ABS-CBN’s iconic inspirational teleserye, May Bukas Pa.
