During the press conference for Billy Crawford’s upcoming game show The Wall Philippines, the host revealed that he had set aside his plans of leaving the country because of the projects he got from TV5 and Brightlight Productions.
First, Crawford recounted his plans of leaving the Philippines and moving to another country back in 2020 after ABS-CBN’s shutdown.
“Nung nawalan kami ng trabaho nung ABS-CBN ay medyo alanganin pa at one point, may mga times na nag-uusap kaming mag-asawa na parang ‘anong gagawin natin’ Ibenta na lang ba natin lahat tapos lipat na lang tayo ng ibang bansa,” Billy revealed.
Then, Billy shared the blessings he received through the projects and shows from TV5 and Brightlight.
“At slowly, we are climbing above that wall until now. Kahit anong mangyari. And I’m really just thankful na meron akong blessing meron akong mga shows sa TV5 meron akong Brightlight entertainment.
“So kumbaga dito ko tinanim yung sinabi ng tatay ko sa akin na ‘there’s no such thing as problems’ kasi lahat ng problema may solusyon,” said Billy.
Coming from Its Showtime!–he’s one of the Kapamilya artists who transferred to Brightlight productions to host TV5’s noontime program, Lunch Out Loud.
Despite his network transfer, his co-hosts consider him as part of their family. Also, Billy honored ABS-CBN It’s Showtime! during the pilot telecast of the noontime show on TV5.
Crawford will host the newest game show franchise, The Wall Philippines. Produced by Viva Entertainment, this game show offers a twist to the typical pachinko ball game wherein contestants can win up to 12 Million Pesos. The Wall Philippines will premiere on Saturday, March 13 at 6 PM on TV5.
