Kapamilya star Maymay Entrata revealed that she didn’t expect that she would get to sign a contract anew with the ABS-CBN. She said that she had her doubts amid the pandemic and the shutdown of the Kapamilya network.
The 23-year-old actress made the revelation during her contract signing event with ABS-CBN called ‘Kapamilya Strong’ held last February 26. The said event had six Kapamilya stars renew their contract with the network.
Aside from Entrata, Kapamilya stars like Edward Barber, Francine Diaz, Donny Pangilinan, Arjo Atayde, and Gary Valenciano also signed a contract with ABS-CBN.
As she was signing her contract, Entrata expressed how grateful she is to be given the opportunity to stay in the ABS-CBN network longer especially during these times in the pandemic and ABS-CBN’s setback of having no franchise.
The young actress also explained that she will do her best with her future projects with the Kapamilya network.
Thank you po,’” she added.
Also present in the contract signing event were some of the ABS-CBN executives like chairman Mark Lopez, president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO of Broadcast Cory Vidanes, TV Production and Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi, and head of finance Rick Tan.
Maymay Entrata has been with the ABS-CBN network for 5 years. She came to prominence in 2016 after she became the grand winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7.
She recently starred in the film ‘Princess DayaReese’ along with her onscreen partner Edward Barber. The film was directed by Barry Gonzalez and it premiered on January 1, 2021. It was broadcasted on KTX and iWantTFC, and pay-per-view channels on Sky Cable and Cignal.
