After more than a decade of being a Kapamilya, actor Albert Martinez is bound to return to the GMA Network.
Martinez was seen attending a zoom meeting with GMA Network executives regarding their upcoming afternoon tele-drama Las Hermanas.
Las Hermanas is part of the Network’s plug for its upcoming 2021 shows although there are no definite details yet about the program.
Meanwhile, Albert, who originally started his TV career on GMA Network soap-opera via Anna Liza, where he played the leading man of the late Julie Vega as Glenn Laxamana.
His next Kapuso project was the 2001 teledrama Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin with Sunshine Dizon and Angelika dela Cruz. It was then followed by another Angelika dela Cruz-starrer Habang Kapiling Ka in 2002.
His last Kapuso project was the 2003 series Twin Hearts with Tanya Garcia and Dingdong Dantes, which ran until 2004.

After working on his last project with GMA Network, Martinez transferred to ABS-CBN where he spent a productive 14 years of his television career.
His first teleserye project with ABS-CBN was the Judy Ann Santos-Piolo Pascual-starrer Sa Piling Mo.
It was then followed by successive teleseryes, which include Pedro Penduko in 2006, Maria Flordeluna in 2007, Princess Sarah in 2007, Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara in 2008, Palos in 2008, and Kahit Isang Saglit in 2008, Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo in 2010, Nasaan Ka, Elisa? in 2011, Princess and I in 2012, Juan Dela Cruz in 2013, and Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon in 2014.
But among all Kapamilya teleseryes that he did, Martinez’s performance was marked in several teleseryes that he did like the top-rating inspirational teleserye May Bukas Pa alongside Zaijan Jaranilla in 2009.
He was also best known for his role in ABS-CBN’s longest-running teleserye FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano in 2015, All of Me in 2015, La Luna Sangre in 2017, The Good Son in 2017, and The General’s Daughter in 2019.
But the most successful was the top-rating and viral afternoon drama Kadenang Ginto.
