In a press conference for Jasmine Curtis-Smith’s new endorsement, Jeunesse Anion Sanitary Napkins, the actress shared how she makes positive change.
First, she said that she starts by micro-influencing in terms of sharing knowledge.
“I’m trying to do a lot of micro-influencing. Micro-influencing in terms of posting ha, but in terms of sharing knowledge,” said Jasmine.
She also added that she believes n educating people through introducing facts.
“I really believe napakagandang way of educating people is introducing all these different facts that you learn,” said Jasmine.
As for advocacies, Jasmine said that she advocates for sustainability and ending poverty. Then, Jasmine added that she does this by introducing small steps that people can take.
“Other than that, I have advocacies I believe in, such as sustainability and also trying to get of poverty. These advocacies (they) might feel (big) to some people, so I try to introduce small steps that they can take,” said Jasmine.
Finally, Jasmine added that she tries to cultivate a better online presence amongst her audience and peers. She highlighted her belief that there is a better way of conveying our ideas and stance on social issues without canceling people online.
“I believe in trying my best to cultivate a better online presence amongst my audience. Pero pati na rin sa mga peers kong celebrities and artists so that they themselves also. Lahat tayo may paniniwala, may paninindigan, pero there’s a way to convey it na yung maayos na hindi tayo nagka-cancel ng mga tao sa paligid natin,” said Jasmine.
With her advocacies, it’s no wonder that Jeunesse Anion Sanitary Napkins chose Jasmine as their new brand ambassador. Jasmine highlighted during the press conference that the anion strip in the sanitary napkin is its best feature.
Among Kapuso stars, Jasmine is one of the more vocal celebrities when it comes to social issues. Besides her endorsement, she also stars in A Midnight in a Perfect World and Netflix’s Alter Me.
