In the press conference for the upcoming Kapuso series, Owe My Love, actor-director Leo Martinez shared how he kept his sanity during the pandemic.
During the interview, he gave a piece of advice that people should start expressing their feelings. He stressed that unexpressed feelings become toxins to the body.
“Ang acting is feeling, not thinking. So, you have to express everything that you feel. You have to take time to express what you feel because unexpressed feeling becomes (a) toxin in your body,” said Martinez.
Martinez also mentioned that he remains healthy because he expresses his feelings despite his age of 75. He’s turning 76 next month.
“Ganon lang po yun. Ako po ay magse-seventy six years old na next month. Pero, knock on wood, hindi ako nao-ospital, hindi ako nagkakasakit. Dahil, I think part of that I always express what I feel,” said Martinez.
Also, Martinez highlighted his role in the upcoming comedy series noting his advocacy for senior citizens.
“Maganda po itong role na ito dahil it touches on senior citizens. Kakaunti po ang mga shows na may (about) senior citizens, kasi ito nagpapakita rin naman ng mga problema at concerns ng mga senior citizens, na kailangan pagtuunan ng pansin,” said Martinez.
Martinez stars in the GMA Network comedy series Owe My Love, with Benjamin Alves, Lovi Poe, Wynwyn Marquez, Nova Villa, Jackie Lou Blanco, and Aiai delas Alas.
Kiray Celis, Pekto Nacua, Buboy Villar, Ruby Rodriguez, Ryan Eigenmann, Jelai Andres, Jon Gutierrez, Jason Francisco, Divine Tetay, Terry Gian, and Mahal are also part of the cast.
The comedy series airs this February 15, 2021, at 9:35 p.m, on GMA Telebabad.
