After being rumored to be pregnant by Diehard Duterte Supporter Robin Padilla, Deputy Executive Director of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Mocha Uson has decided to lend a hand to out-of-wedlock pregnant women.
In her official facebook account, for Uson, pregnant women outside of marriage should get help rather than be condemned.
“Akin ding napagtanto- eh ano naman kung buntis ako? Sabihin na natin na ako ay buntis. Ako naman po ay single at hindi kasal. Ngayon kung sinasabi naman nila na dahil sa nabuntis ako sa isang lalaking kasal ito ay isang pagkakamali- oo mali talaga yan.”
Uson, who currently holds an office at the OWWA, believes that no one is perfect and that every person deserves a second chance.
“Pero dapat ang mga nagkamali sa lipunan ay hindi dapat kinukundena bagkus dapat silang tinutulungang makabangon,” she said.
Thus, launching her new assistance program called ‘MOthers of CHAnge’ or whose acronym is MOCHA.
“Kaya naisip ko po na idagdag ito sa aking adbokasiya na tulungan ang mga kababaihang nagkamali sa lipunan o napariwara ng landas, Atin pong tatawagin itong MOCHA – MOthers for CHAnge. Hindi po tayo perpekto.”
As she rides the rumors about her ‘pregnancy’– the blogger-turned-public official even added a bible verse for her new assistance program.
“Lahat ay nagkakamali at napapariwara. Ngunit sabi nga sa Bibliya, Our God is a God of second chances. … “God gives each of us chance after chance” (Job 33:29).”
Mocha Uson seemed to be taking advantage and enjoying the pregnancy rumor-mill that she even promoted this latest advocacy to protect single mothers’ welfare.
But some Netizens are not happy about what the former Palace official did. Some Netizens said that her advocacy name–MOCHA short for Mothers for Change should be changed to Mochang Ina, which resembles a Filipino cuss word.

Honestly, I don't think she's pregnant. She's probably too smart for that sort of thing. The rumor was just an issue and apparently started by Baraan which has no basis. Yet, true or not, it's not our concern anymore.
