Long-time pals and Magandang Tanghali Bayan (MTB) hosts Randy Santiago, John Estrada, and Willie Revillame reunited at Revillame’s 60th birthday celebration.
Singer-host Randy Santiago was nostalgic about his MTB days and shared on his Instagram account that they might not have seen each other for a long time, but they make sure to come together for milestones.
Santiago posted a photo and captioned it, “Pagkatagal tagal naming hindi nagkita-kita at sa mga mahahalagang okasyon ay sinisiguro naming magsama-sama. Sa pagkakataong ito ipinagdiriwang namin ang ika-60 na kaarawan ng aming kapatid na Willie. Maligayang Bati ‘Kuya Wil’ We Love You.”

The three got reunited recently. In the succeeding post, Santiago uploaded another picture of themselves, now, with their mentor and director Edgar ‘Bobot’ Mortiz.
He also shared their happy experiences as main hosts of the variety noontime show and even their experiences with MTRCB.
“MTB Boys kasama ang aming mentor, Direk Bobot. Ang sarap balik-balikan ang aming pinagsamahan. Mga panahong tumatawa sa mga kalokohan sa MTB at umiiyak dahil lagi kaming suspended ng MTRCB. Kwentuhang walang katapusang tawanan. Happy 60th Birthday kapatid na Willie,” he wrote with a red heart emoji at the end.

Magandang Tanghali Bayan (MTB) was variety noontime show of ABS-CBN mainly hosted by Santiago, Estrada, and Revillame and helmed by the director Bobot Mortiz. The show was tagged as the third longest running noon time show in the Philippines, after Eat Bulaga and Wowowee, which ran from 1998 to 2005.
Up to this day, all three are still active in doing individual projects in the Philippine entertainment industry.
At the moment,Revillame is the creator and host of the popular afternoon variety game show Wowowin Tutok To Win. He gives away cash prizes to chosen viewers on their social media accounts. The show airs on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on GMA-7.
Estrada top-bills GMA’s teleserye Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat with actress Carmina Villaroel and promising Kapuso drama star Pauline Mendoza. He is also working on TV5’s sitcom John en Ellen alongside returning star Ellen Adarna.
OPM veteran Santiago continues to sing as he performs on ABS-CBN’s longest-running musical variety show ASAP and is one of the top judges on It’s Showtime’s segment, the singing competition, Tawag ng Tanghalan.
