At the press conference for All-Out Sundays’ return to live broadcast, Christian Bautista, Rayver Cruz, Glaiza De Castro, and Miguel Tanfelix reacted to the competing noontime show that airs on two free TV channels.
Firstly, Christian highlighted that competition is good for performers as it pushes them to give more effort in their performances. He also pointed out that it’s the audience who wins in the competition between the noontime shows.
“Competition is always good. Kasi, it helps us as well. As performers kasi, mas gumagaling, mas nagbibigay ng effort a.k.a mas hinihingal. Also, parang pressure and competition combined. You know kung sino panalo jan, it’s really our audience. Kasi they get a good show,” said Christian.
Rayver agreed and said that they are happy with the competing noontime show airing on two channels. He also noted that he doesn’t feel any pressure. Instead, they feel excited about their live broadcast return.
“We’re happy for them. We’re happy for us. It’s a friendly competition. Na at the same time, nakakatulong yung para lumabas yung bawat ganda ng bawat show. Lalo na for us. Kaya excited na kami,“ said Rayver.
Glaiza, on the other hand, highlighted that it is necessary for them to feel nervous because they use that to improve their performances.
“Hindi naman mawawala yung kaba, kasi sa lahat ng performers meron yun eh at pagkanawala yun, parang I think there’s something wrong. Kasi yun din yung energy na ginagamit namin para lalo pang husayan,” said Glaiza.
Finally, Miguel agreed with Glaiza. However, he highlighted that they make it a point to enjoy their performances on stage, despite the pressure.
“For me siguro di naman talaga mawawala yung pressure, sa lahat ng gagawin mo professionally or sa buhay mo. Parang may pressure talaga. Masasabi ko lang jan siguro kaya #AOSnumber1 tayo, parang ginagawa namin yun para sa sarili namin. Ine-enjoy namin yung bawat segundo, bawat moment namin sa stage,” said Miguel.
In celebration of their first anniversary on the air, All-Out Sundays return to live broadcast this January 31, 2020. AOS will also kick off GMA7’s month-long Kapuso month celebration for February.
