Vice President Leni Robredo praised KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) for their contributions in helping the typhoon victims, saying they are good role models for others.
She also recognized the contributions of KathNiel fans who extended their help as well.
On Tuesday, December 8, VP Leni posted on her Facebook account a photo showing donation boxes of KathNiel fans. She mentioned that because KathNiel themselves did their own donation drive for the typhoon victims, their fandom has also followed in their footsteps and helped as well.
She also mentioned that the fandom’s acts are the result brought by having good role models like KathNiel.
“KATHNIELS, fans of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, did their own donation drive for the typhoon victims. Kathryn and Daniel have been quietly helping victims and now their fans are following [in their] footsteps. This is the power of having good role models,” she captioned.
It can be recalled that the celebrity couple extended their help to affected communities of the recent typhoons Ulysses and Rolly. They were joined by their respective families in repacking the relief goods.
