After starting a new journey under Cornerstone Entertainment, actress Kris Bernal didn’t forget to thank her longtime network, GMA Network.
On Instagram, the former Kapuso mainstay spoke about looking for a new manager.
“Looking for a new manager was one of the longest processes that I had to go through and the toughest decision as well. It wasn’t easy for me because I need someone who has the same vision and goals as mine, someone whom I’ll be comfortable to work with, and someone whom I can trust to provide me with projects.”
She then talked about how GMA Network honed her talent for 13 years.
“Being with GMA Artist Center for 13 years, I am really grateful and will forever look back at my journey with them. I wouldn’t be where I am now without them.”
The actress stressed that even though she’s not in GMA Network anymore, she will still consider GMA Network as her home network and will forever be a Kapuso,
“And, after all this and everything, I still consider myself a talent of my home network, GMA Network, despite being a freelancer. ❤️ I’ll always be a ‘Kapuso’ wherever I go, wherever God leads me.”
Months ago, Bernal confirmed her freelance status via her YouTube vlog when answering questions from her subscribers. She also reported that her contract with the GMA Artist Center had ended a few months earlier and, unfortunately, had not been renewed.
She confirmed her new home with the talent agency Cornerstone Entertainment Inc. Bernal was unveiled as one of the newest artists within their rosters.
“I am happy and proud to announce that I am now part of the Cornerstone Entertainment Inc., @cornerstone, family headed by Mr. @visionerickson and Mr. @jeffvadillo. I believe I made the right choice and I am really happy with it.”
