The highly-anticipated rematch between Nonito ‘Filipino Flash’ Donaire and Vic ‘Raging Bull’ Darchinyan will finally happen tomorrow (Nov 10) as the former world boxing champions finally meet once more at the center of the ring for a 10-round, non-title featherweight fight to be held in the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Boxing fans are already excited for this bout as both boxers will surely go all out for the win, in hopes of reviving their boxing careers.
Donaire’s (31-2, 20 knockouts) first encounter with Darchinyan (31-2, 20 knockouts) was back in 2007 he gave the Armenian fighter his first knockout defeat in his career using his powerful left hook. Not only did Donaire snatched Darchinyan’s IBF flyweight title, but he also won his first ever world championship title.
Coming from a unanimous-decision loss last April to Cuban Guillermo Rigondeaux, Donaire is very determined to bounce back by winning this match.
Darchinyan, meanwhile, is driven by vengeance and is just as determined to vindicate himself on the ring after Donaire finished him off with a left hook which he dubbed as a lucky punch.
