Several celebrities and social media influencers have taken to Twitter to ask the Filipino people especially the youth to register and vote for the coming 2022 elections.
The celebrities’ reactions came after the recent historic win of former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris as the new President and Vice President of the United States respectively.
Biden and Harris’ victory against Donald Trump gave Filipinos a sign of relief that populist authoritarian leaders can be defeated and hope that the Philippines will experience the same in the next election.
Social media personality and influencer Macoy Dubs in his tweet said that election surveys may not be always correct thus asking everyone to register and vote because every vote counts.

Kapamilya host Robi Domingo meanwhile tweeted a vlog with the MayWard showing the process on how to be a registered voter.

Outspoken Kapuso star Janine Guttierez also shared her sentiments in a tweet saying she can’t wait for the Philippines to vote the current administration and its allies out.

Popular OPM Band Ben & Ben on the other hand shared the COMELEC link with regards to voter’s registration urging everyone to register.

Aside from showbiz celebrities, journalists also took to Twitter to also share their reactions and hopes for the Philippines to follow suit.
Veteran Kapamilya journalist Abner Mercado thanked the Lord for the opportunity to witness history. And he hopes that the Philippines will duplicate it on May 9, 2022.

Another Kapamilya veteran broadcaster Tony Velasquez meanwhile asked Filipinos to vote for sanity in 2022. He also congratulated Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for their victory.

Zen Hernandez on the other hand shared the lessons of the US Elections and asked the Filipinos if were are ready for our own in the next elections.
