Recently, rumors circulated saying that Piolo Pascual along with Maja Salvador and other Kapamilya artists have been banned from ABS-CBN.
This is after these celebrities accepted shows under Brightlight productions owned by Albee Benitez who has a block time agreement with TV5.
However, these allegations were dismissed by Piolo after he released his newest single, “Iiyak sa Ulan” under Star Music, the record label of ABS-CBN.
Furthermore, during Piolo’s recent interview by Robert Labayen with ABS-CBN former president Charo Santos, he again dismissed these allegations regarding his ban from the network.
In a clip from the interview, Piolo affirmed that he will remain ‘Kapamilya Forever’ despite everything that’s happening.
Sino nga ulit nagsabi na banned si Piolo sa ABS? Lol

As Congress denied the network’s bid for a new franchise, many employees including celebrities lost their jobs.
Piolo was one of those Kapamilya celebrities who left the network and accepted projects with TV5.
At present, he is one of the hosts of TV5’s Sunday variety show, Sunday Noontime Live!, which started airing on October 18.
He was joined by other Kapamilya stars Maja Salvador, Catriona Gray, Donny Pangilinan, and Jake Ejercito.
