As they approach the release of their first full-length album, Brooklyn-based synth-pop duo Great Good Fine Ok drop a gem of a new single for fans. The track, entitled “Progress,” exudes a bouncy, feel-good vibe with a timely message.
When asked about the inspiration behind the song, the duo shared their thoughts: ”’Progress’ is about realizing that it’s okay to make mistakes, evolve, and most importantly, figure out how to make things right. We’re all going through a shit storm right now and none of us will be exactly the same when it subsides. This is a good thing! It’s times like these that force us to re-evaluate our priorities and take stock of the type of people we’ve been and who we want to be. The first step in fixing a problem is realizing that you have a problem and we’ve all had PLENTY of time to realize ALL of the problems. In our personal lives and as a country.
