Laurenti Dyogi is ABS-CBN’s Entertainment Production Director and soon-to-be Star Magic Director, best known in the industry as Direk Lauren.
A renowned director in the Philippines, he has made numerous films and drama shows. He has been working for over 20 years at ABS-CBN.
Recently, he was even appointed as the next head of ABS-CBN’s talent management arm. As current heads Mariole Alberto and Johnny Manahan leave the media giant, Dyogi will take over ABS-CBN’s talent management arm starting on January 1, 2021.
ABS-CBN said the changes are “in line with the organizational changes due to the company currently introducing the separation program.” On December 31, 2020, Alberto will formally leave ABS-CBN.
“Lauren, together with the Star Magic Team, will continue to be responsible for discovering, developing, and managing talents. They will identify opportunities for our talents while ensuring that these opportunities are aligned with the talent’s equity,” ABS-CBN said in their statement.
