Kapamilya comedian Brenda Mage shared how vlogging helped her survive the pandemic.
In her interview with ABS-CBN morning talk show Magandang Buhay, Brenda talked about the advantage that vlogging brought to her especially in this time of pandemic.
While she recognizes the sufferings and hardships of many people, the pandemic has turned out positive for her as a vlogger and content creator. She said with many people confined in their homes and the internet as the source of entertainment, her earnings have increased.
Brenda also recalled how she started in vlogging. She said she was already happy back then with the 5,000 in earnings but now it has already climbed to six digits ranging 100k-300k per month for both Facebook and YouTube.
Brenda also added that what’s more fulfilling about her vlogging is the fact that she can help her family and friends with their needs.
Ngayon so far both kumikita ako sa Facebook at YouTube. Tapos pareho silang tig-six digits.
But while Brenda is happy with the earnings she is getting from vlogging, she’s also confronted by bashing and hurtful comments. But instead of getting affected by the negative comments on his vlog, Brenda maintained that they are still counted as views. so she just thanked her bashers.
At the end of the day, viewer pa rin kita. So salamat sa basher,” Brenda said.
Currently, Brenda is part of the teleserye Ang sa Iyo Ay Akin starring Jodi Sta. Maria and Iza Calzado.
Meanwhile, his YouTube channel has already reached 478K subscribers with a total of 49 million views.
