Juliana Parizcova Segovia, known as the first Miss Q and A title holder of It’s Showtime, admitted that she struggled from anxiety after Congress denied ABS-CBN’s application to operate with a new franchise.
The Kapamilya celebrity vented out her dismay for her showbiz career was short-lived.
With ABS-CBN’s shutdown, Juliana said she is now clueless about how she will achieve her dream for her mother. She is also worried that she might not continue her plans of building a new house.
“Paano ba ako magsisimula? Ano ba ’to? Sabi ko, ‘Lord, ano ‘to?
“So, nu’ng time na yon… paano ko pa ito matutuloy? Paano ko pa gagalingan?” asked Juliana.
While she was struggling with anxiety brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and ABS-CBN’s closure, Juliana shared she used to talk to Magandang Buhay host Melai Cantiveros for advice.
Juliana brought home a prize of P1 million from the Miss Q and A competition, however, this amount is not yet enough for her to buy a car.
Kailangan talaga sa trabaho, eh,” she ended.
ABS-CBN was shut down back in May after it received a cease and desist order from National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
In July, the House of Representatives with a vote of 70-11 officially rejected the ABS-CBN’s appeal for a new franchise. Following this, the network stopped operating most of its businesses. At the end of August 2020, thousands of its workers were also affected as the media company implemented a retrenchment program.
