PLDT and its wireless unit, Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart), renew their commitment to help partner-retailers overcome the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Under the revamped Ka-Partner Rewards Program, PLDT and Smart will continue to provide incentive opportunities to retailers nationwide. The two companies will also fete lucky retailers with prizes and livelihood booster packages, including Php1 million-worth of cash and goods to five lucky retailers.
For this year, the annual nationwide convention will be broken into several regional virtual assemblies. With the theme ‘Simple Umasenso, Ka-Partner,’ the online retailer assembly series will underscore the companies’ dedication to help partner-retailers hurdle the challenges of the global health crisis.
During these virtual retailer assemblies, Smart Ka-Partner retailers can participate in games and win exciting prizes. Five lucky retailers from NCR, North and Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will join the elite millionaires’ club. Their stores will also get a free makeover to ensure the health and safety of store owners and buyers. The Ka-Partner Rewards Program has produced 24 millionaires since its inception in 2012.
The virtual assemblies are also an opportunity for PLDT and Smart to introduce new products and services to the over one million-strong network of partner-retailers all over the country. The two companies also take advantage of the event to provide network and technology. This year, the digital way of selling load via the Ka-Partner App will also be highlighted.
Smart Ka-Partners or load retailers are usually vendors or owners of neighborhood sari-sari (Mom and Pop) stores or mini groceries. They can also be roving individuals who sell airtime credits. To date, there are over a million load retailers in the PLDT-Smart network.
These activities are part of PLDT-Smart’s Ka-Partner Rewards program which aims to strengthen the two companies’ relationship with their partner-retailers all over the country. The program aims to help them grow their businesses and enhance their livelihood, while enabling communities to stay connected.
