This wasn’t the first teaser that Alden gave his fans. Last September, Asia’s Multimedia Star just shared a self-portrait on IG along with a mysterious caption asking fans to “save the date” for December 8.

Alden first appeared in the Kapuso fantasy-horror-drama Alakdana where he already impressed viewers and critics.The actor received the ‘Oustanding Breakthrough Performance by an Actor’ award at the Golden Screen TV Awards in 2011 for his performance.
He also immediately became part of the Metro Manila Film Festival in his first film ‘Ang Panday 2 where he acted as Gubli.
As early as 2011, Alden has won the hearts of many as he portrayed the campus heartthrob Christian in ‘Tween Academy and in one of his big roles starring opposite Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera in ‘Carmela.’
Alden’s rising popularity continued when he was named Pambansang Bae as part of the phenomenal love team with Maine Mendoza also known as the #AlDub.
In 2019, Alden had the greatest success of his movie career in his project with Kathryn Bernardo, Hello, Love, Goodbye. The movie became the highest-grossing Filipino movie as of 2019.
