11-year old Michelle Alfonso and 12-year old Janet Ricab took the spotlight when Senyora Santibañez uploaded on Facebook a clip that showed their “sobrang pa-cute” attitude.
According to the pair, it was their friend, Vhelpoe Garve, who was the mastermind of Pabebe video.
The two admitted that they got the inspiration from the earlier video of Mary Jaydeeyn Elias, who made fun of herself eating mamon, a popular sweet cake.

Though both didn’t expect the video to draw much attention, it just did literally with a number of followers –even local celebrities–injected with “pabebe” sydrome.
Actress Lovi Poe and Alessadra de Rossi laid their own version via Instagram.
Kapamilya Alex Gonzaga and Kim Chiu dubbed themselves “the new pabebe girls” on their hosting stint at ASAP while Vice Ganda invited the two, including Vhelpoe, to guest on Gandang Gabi Vice (GGV).
Apart from their guesting in the show, they also made a cameo appearance in Vice’s ‘Wag Kang Pabebe’ music video.
