In a media conference for TV5’s upcoming news program, Frontline Pilipinas, Raffy Tulfo shared what he experienced during the pandemic.
“Yes, for me, since the start of the this pandemic, January, nakita ko yung kung ano yung mga problema sa ating lipunan. Ano yung mga problema ng ating mga kababayan, especially yung mga mahihirap na walang wala talaga.”
“We do have that experience, in my case, yes I do because I’ve been out there in the field, face to face, nakakaharap ko nakakausap ko sila at naibibigay ko yung mga tulong na kailangan nila,” Raffy said.
He also added that through his experiences he aims to help people who are struggling during the pandemic by disseminating information to have an impact on their lives.
“How would us, being the people who disseminate the news would affect their lives? That is very very important. Paano magkakaroon ng impact sa kanilang buhay yung mga sasabihin namin sa kanila. Yung mga information na ididisseminate namin kanila,” said Raffy.
He also noted that he will use his new platform to help people be heard.
“Nasasabi nila sa akin yung problema nila and that experience na nakuha ko from them this pandemic. Pwede ko naman siguro iput that sa script. Para mabasa yan sa teleprompter at madedeliver, mapapakinggan, at mapapanood ng lahat,” Raffy noted.
Raffy is known as the “Hari ng Public Service” through his radio and television programs. He currently has 15 Million subscribers on YouTube.
Raffy will host TV5’s upcoming news program Frontline Pilipinas alongside multi-awarded journalists and broadcasters, Luchi Cruz-Valdes, Cheryl Cosim, Ed Lingao, and Lourd de Veyra. Frontline Pilipinas premieres this October 5 and will air through Mondays to Fridays 6:30-7:30 PM.
