Kapamilya journalist Karen Davila shared the real score about her TV Patrol stint.
In an Instagram post, Karen shared a photo of her in the TV Patrol studio with a caption “Here’s to fresh grace everyday. Always start and end the day with an attitude of gratitude.”
Karen has been doing TV Patrol for several weeks now after Ted Failon’s departure from the program. Because of this, many are speculating that she will be the one to permanently replace Ted on the Kapamilya flagship newscast.

However, Karen revealed that she was only given the Monday and Wednesday schedule on TV Patrol. She said she’s not yet aware what the management’s plans are with TV Patrol but she’ll ask the management about it.
“Hello po! M&W po ako. Am not sure what is happening Sept 28 or Oct 5 pa. I will ask,” Karen said to one of the commenters on her Instagram post.
Meanwhile, Karen also shared a photo of herself together with other TV Patrol anchors, Bernadette Sembrano, Kabayan Noli de Castro, Gretchen Fullido, and Kuya Kim Atienza.
In the caption, Karen said one of the realities is that they love ABS-CBN and their work at the network. She also reiterated her loyalty to the network despite what’s happening to it right now.
“Expectation vs Reality 😂 Pero ang isang reality sa aming lahat… mahal po namin ang ABSCBN. Mahal po namin kayo. Mahal po namin ang trabaho namin. Sa lahat ng pinagdaanan ng aming kumpanya, nandito pa rin kami. Work is a privilege. It is a blessing from the Lord. 27 years in the industry. 20 years a Kapamilya. Tuloy lang hanggang kaya.”
Karen is not new to TV Patrol. She was once a regular anchor from 2004 to 2010 together with Ted Failon and Julius Babao for TV Patrol World.
Meanwhile, aside from pitch hitting on TV Patrol, Karen can be regularly watched on her Headstart show in ANC.
