Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber gave their message to fans as they marked their fourth anniversary as a love team last August.
The tandem, popularly called MayWard, thanked their avid fans who supported them all throughout their careers.
The two aired their messages during the Lazada 9.9 countdown show live last September 8 along with hosts Bianca Gonzalez and Robi Domingo.
Maymay said, “Maraming salamat po sa patuloy na pagsuporta niyo samin dalawa ni Edward. Kakabago nga lang, nung last month nga lang ang ating apat na taong anibersaryo.
“Sobrang saya namin dahil napapabalik yung mga memories natin, yung mga panahon na nag-aadjust pa tayo hanggang sa ine-enjoy mo na lang.”
The Kapamilya star added, “Yung apat na taon na yon ay sobrang biggest achievement dahil nga ay nandito pa rin kami dahil sa inyo. Huwag niyo po kalimutan na mahal na mahal namin kayo at maraming salamat po sa understanding and everything.”
After delivering her message, Robi then asked Maymay if she missed her love team partner.
“Namiss mo?” Robi asked.
“Namiss ko nga ‘to,” Maymay laughingly replied.

Meanwhile, Edward noted how the two of them have changed after staying in showbiz for years.
“Four years na pala na nasa industriya kami ni Maymay. Dumating na kami sa point na pwede na kaming mag-enjoy, as in nawala yung kaba or di naman…nandun pa rin. Pero majority ng kaba,yung mga insecurities, nawala so pwede na kaming ngumiti, tumawa,” Edward said.
Despite the recent issue which the love team faced, Edward was grateful for fans who still support them until now.
“To all the MayWard family who stayed with us until this point,n agpapasalamat kami.
“Ang daming nangyari within the past couple of months,we all know that. Whatever it was, nothing stopped you guys for supporting us and we can’t say thank you enough. Mahal namin kayo until the very end kung kailan man yun,” he ended.
Last April, Maymay and Edward released a joint statement to clarify the status of their relationship. They stated that they are just best friends and they are in no rush to be in a romantic relationship.
This happened due to rumors which resurfaced on the internet saying that Edward is allegedly dating model-actress Alexa Intong, aka Lexa Lauraine. Some photos also seemingly showed them together during quarantine.
Following these rumors,netizens also noticed that Maymay deleted all of her photos of Edward on Instagram.
Maymay and Edward turned onscreen partners from being friends on Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7.
Maymay, 23, and Edward, 20, already have numerous TV commercials, several features in print and on TV, and a string of roles in TV series and movies.
They had their teleserye debut in the horror-action fantasy drama television series La Luna Sangre, top-billed by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. The starred in their debut film Loving in Tandem in 2017. They also joined the cast of Vice Ganda’s Metro Manila Film Festival entry for 2018 Fantastica: The Princess, The Prince, and The Perya.
