Kapuso journalist Rhea Santos joined former Kapamilya reporters and other Filipino journalists for the OMNI News-Filipino edition.
The Filipino journalists announced the debut of the Canada-based news station that aims to serve the Filipino community in the said country.
Rhea Santos, a former Unang Hirit anchor and its longest staying female morning newscaster, moved to Canada in 2019 to study at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
After a year, she revealed this Filipino team-up in the said TV news program.

Santos will work together with former Kapamilya journalists Ron Gagalac and Marieton Pacheco, who serve as the program producers.
They will also be joined by Filipino reporters Andy Aquino, Paula Saraza, Theresa Redula, and video journalists Arvin Joaquin and Theresa Barrera.

OMNI Television is a Canadian television network which is owned by Rogers Sports & Media.
OMNI TV has been delivering news in different languages like Cantonese, Mandarin, Italian, and Punjabi. As it aims to widen its scope towards delivering international news, it also started its Arabic and Filipino edition.
OMNI Filipino will air every 11 p.m. on OMNI Television.
