Kapamilya journalist Miguel Dumaual slammed some congressmen who have the gall to ask coverage from ABS-CBN after supporting the denial of its franchise.
In a tweet, Dumaual blasted these politicians while reminding them that they cannot benefit from ABS-CBN widest reach online after they supported the denial of the ABS-CBN franchise.

Fellow ABS-CBN journalist Anjo Bagaoisan meanwhile jokingly replied, “May iba naman media kamo, ‘di ba?” paraphrasing what some congressmen have said about how ABS-CBN’s closure would not affect the spread of news.

Another ABS-CBN journalist Mike Navallo also reacted to Dumaual’s tweet but he can only wish everyone a happy weekend.
“Happy weekend, folks! :),” Navallo tweeted.

Dumaual’s sentiment was also shared by fellow Kapamilya journalist Lynda Jumilla earlier on.
In a tweet, last July 23, ABS-CBN News digital head Lynda Jumilla also slammed a certain member of the House of Representatives who has the gall to send a press release to ABS-CBN after he/she voted against the renewal of the network’s franchise.
“Yung bumoto kayo para ipasara ang network, tapos magpapadala kayo ng press release para ipromote ang negosyo ninyo. How to be you po?

On July 10, the House committee on legislative franchises voted to deny the ABS-CBN franchise application.
With the denial, ABS-CBN was forced for a much longer time to go off the air on free TV and shut down most of its operations leading to retrenchment of thousands of its employees.
Currently, ABS-CBN is now concentrating on its shift to digital broadcast as it launched Kapamilya Online Live on Youtube and Facebook which was warmly received by loyal Kapamilya viewers and supporters.
ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube Channel has already reached 28.9 million subscribers while ABS-CBN News YouTube Channel has already passed the 10-million mark.
ABS-CBN’s Facebook page ABS-CBN Network meanwhile has more than 21 million followers.
