Jimuel Pacquiao has joined the Star Magic roster. In an online interview with MJ Felipe, Jimuel gave all the juicy details about his new career as an actor.
When asked what made him join Star Magic, he confirmed that he was invited by a friend.
“Ever since interested po akong mag act. I met this friend of mine who’s already doing the workshop. So ininvite nya akong sumama. So when I thought about it like why not, kasi pwede naman din. Acting is interesting. Why not do it?” said Jimuel.
It also helped that his parents, Sen. Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee Pacquiao, wanted him to focus on acting instead of boxing.
“I still do have passion for boxing kasi I do love the sport naman, pero mas supportive kasi sila pag dating sa showbiz kaysa sa boxing,” said Jimuel.
Jimuel confirmed that he is open to different genres, but favors action.
“I think dun ako mostly na attract talaga. Cause action is my favorite genre when it comes to movies. I think its good to be versatile when it comes to acting so I’m open naman to anything,” said Jimuel.
When asked about love teams, Jimuel says that he is ready for it.
“Love team? Actually I guess so, mostly ganon talaga naman pag naguumpisa its with a love team. So I think I am ready for it,” said Jimuel.
In the prospect of who he would like to work with, he has this to say; “I know a lot of celebrities. It would be an honor to work with any of them. Especially yung mga big love teams like KathNiel. It would be an honor to even just be in a scene with them.”
Jimuel is the 19-year-old son of the World Champion Boxer Manny Pacquiao who is a boxer himself. He is also taking up entrepreneurship and aims to be an actor, boxer, and businessman in the future.
