Kapamilya star Daniel Padilla was dismayed over the comment of a netizen who said that Daniel’s feelings for Kathryn Bernardo are fake and that their relationship is just for show.
The actor noticed the said comment in his Instagram post and he did not let it pass as he was shocked that people are still doubting his relationship with Kathryn.

Daniel captioned his post by quoting lyrics from the song “Wild Horses Couldn’t Drag Me Away.”
“Wild horses couldn’t drag me away
Wild, wild horses we’ll ride them some day
Wild horses couldn’t drag me away
Wild, wild horses we’ll ride them some day,” he wrote.
He just wanted to share a photo of himself going about his day but an Instagram user decided to call him out and said that the actor should stop fooling people.
The netizen insisted that Daniel doesn’t love Kathryn and that everything about them is just fan service.
“Please, stop fooling people anymore! This was what you said. ‘In love ako, ewan ko’ about @bernardokath. Can’t even say he loves Kathryn. And everything you’ve (been) saying about Kathryn are all fan service!” the netizen said.
Daniel simply brushed off the netizen and replied saying “wth (what the heck/hell) haha.”
He did not take the comment too seriously because he knows that the netizen was just trying to start a nonsense issue.
The netizen’s comment about Daniel being ‘unsure’ of his love for the actress came from Daniel’s video call with his celebrity friends Patrick Sugui and Khalil Ramos.
The video call was held through Facebook live and Daniel was heard repeatedly mentioning Kathryn. He admired the actress for being naturally beautiful.
“Kahit walang ayos ‘yon, napakaganda ng babaeng ‘yon. Hindi niya na kailangan mag-ayos,” Daniel said.
He also mentioned that Kathryn was doing a good job of learning how to play the piano. He praised Kathryn for being such a fast learner despite learning to play the instrument through a mobile application.
His friend Patrick, teased him for his comment about Kathryn, saying, “E, di in love na in love ka na naman!”
Daniel promptly said that he is in love or maybe the actress was just trying to impress him which made the actor’s friends laugh.
“In love ako, ewan ko, o baka nagpapasikat lang sakin, di ko alam,” Daniel said.
Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, dubbed as ‘KathNiel’, have been a couple for about eight years now. They recently celebrated their 8th anniversary amid the COVID-19 pandemic by having a simple dinner with the food that their friends and solid KathNiel fans brought them.
Kathryn’s mother, Min Bernardo shared a glimpse of what the couple did for their special event through her Instagram post.

Daniel recently trended after a tricycle driver hit his sports car, a Ford Mustang ‘Eleanor’ that was said to be worth about P11 million. But instead of being mad and charging the driver for the damages to his car, the actor was the one to offer money to the driver to get his tricycle fixed.
Netizens praised the actor for being such a ‘good Samaritan’ and said that the actor showed that he has a kind and generous heart. Luckily, no one got hurt and Daniel’s sports car reportedly only sustained a small scratch on its left side.
Daniel Padilla rose to prominence after being a part of ABS-CBN’s TV series Gimik (2010). He starred in the show Growing Up (2010), Princess and I (2012-2013), Got to Believe (2013–2014), and Pangako Sa ‘Yo (2015–2016).
